About Me

Jenn Fieldman, LMHC, LCMHCS

My experience in therapy started in 1998. I have been a therapist in colleges, high schools, in the wilderness, and in private office settings. I mainly work with individuals. My clients range in age from college-age through older adults. I absolutely love watching my clients become stronger and fully thriving in their lives.

I grew up on a farm in Illinois. After majoring in Theater in undergrad, I moved to New Jersey. Shortly after, I moved back to Illinois where I began a career as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Chicago. I moved to Austin, TX for a short jaunt to warm up after the Chicago winters, then to Asheville, NC.  Loving the experience of transition and discovering different places, I lived in Seattle, WA where I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor,  and remaining a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor for North Carolina. I’m now back in Austin, TX, as a Licensed Professional Counselor. I work with individuals and new therapists seeking licensure both online as well as in my Austin office.

I engage in my life everyday to “practice what I preach.” I enjoy working out daily, grabbing quiet moments, canoeing, trail running, yoga, playing my guitar, meditation, mindfulness, birding, and belly laughter.
